Graduation

The hyacinth are in bloom which means...

...that it's time for graduation ceremonies. Okay, maybe that was a weak link to a pretty photo, but certainly the color is celebratory. Which is what I'll be doing for the next week, celebrating my niece's graduation!

So, I'll be back to blogging around June 6, no doubt with a post about what taking a short break from creative endeavors does for the creator.

Anybody else celebrating a transition?

Great shot of the hyacinth.

All of our kids are grown now, but we still have wonderful memories of all those graduations, and merit award ceremonies. It was a fabulous chapter in our lives. Enjoy every minute.

Have a nice day.

Happy Graduation to your niece!

We're transitioning into summer. The teen is home hiding in her cave for her summer hibernation.

Day 3 of vacation. I swear she sleeps all day. Yesterday she did not emerge until almost 2:00 pm. How can anyone sleep that long?

I hope you have good break. Take care!

I don't know what's going on. I left this comment before, but it's now gone. I wonder what I'm doing wrong.

Your post reminded me of the graduations we used to attend for our own kids. Those were the days of excitement. As you know, life flies by so quickly, so enjoy them while you can.

Happy trails.

Hey Swu,

Sorry you had to post twice! My brother and sister-in-law are not computer savvy and have an ANCIENT, not-very-well protected (once they install virus protection at the store you never have to update, right?) computer.

But I'm back and getting caught up!

Muse--yes, I remember those days of sleep and sleep and sleep some more! I've read it's a teen growth brain thing...
