Practising Gratitude for Creative People, Part 2

Amazing how Christmas lights resemble an abstract painting.

There's a lot of thankful people expressing gratitude. My blogging friend Beth just blogged about it. My other blogging friend Kathy at Well Placed Words has recently done the same. In fact, if memory serves me right, many of my fellow writers often express their thanks (and eloquently as well).

So, for part 2, I'd like to thank a few of my fellow bloggers for their excellent blogs and superb support: Nancy at Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life, with her great ability to start up a conversation in her comments, Jim with his The Truth about Lies, with his sharp insights into writing and The Muse at Inspired Day by Day for her fabulous tips about blogs and marketing.

These are a tiny sampling of a few great blogs and a mini-taste of the excellent writing community out there. I don't have the time and possibly not the space to mention everyone...

What are a few of your favorites? And if it yours, well mention it!

Next post (part 3), why I know that the creative people who are best at creating are also the most grateful.

I'm just grateful that I'm not standing here screaming into the wind. I'm probably grateful for other things too but it's five in the morning and I've not slept so all I really want to be grateful for at the moment is a good night's kip.

Aargh, insomnia, the horror, the horror. I always become rampantly paranoid around about 4 a.m. You still seem cogent, and hopefully you're asleep as I type this!

I am grateful for you! And of course, Well Placed Words! (She mentioned chickpeas the other day and it made me hungry, even though I'm not a big garbanzo person)

I have to check out the others you mentioned.

There are a quite a few I've come across since I began this. I'm making a 'great blog' list on my blog--not finished yet, links are time consuming. Plus every time I work on it I get to reading, well, I'm sure you know how it goes.

I hope you have a great weekend!!!

I'm grateful that you mentioned me in your blog, Conda! :-) And for my new blog buddies. Funny, I lived in Idaho on and off for over 20 years, but never knew anyone in Boise. I have to move to Florida to meet one!

Ditto Nancy's blog. She has started quite a little family - the links to which are on my page, and hers.

And I'm STILL grateful it's not snowing...!

Glad you're staying warm, Beth--it's snowing again and I'm about to do some driving around, during the Christmas season, on slick roads! Eek!

And I too have a "great blog" list, Muse, which desperately needs updating (adding you and my other fabulous recent finds!).
