Good reading, a new publisher market and a short story of mine

Thanks to Carol and Ann.

Carol Kilgore of Under the Tiki Hut tagged me, ahem, a bit ago. So did Ann of Long Journey Home. Thanks to both of you--although life got away from me and I never did my bit.

Speaking of Carol, she has a great, fun story in the anthology Map of Murder called "Buñuelos for the Beach." Good work, Carol (and the rest of the anthology is good too).

This is a market call from my friend Jane Freund (her last name means friend!) http://www.janefreund.com/freundship-press.html:

I am looking to get as many high caliber writers and authors to publish e-articles and e-books (non-fiction and fiction) as a part of my November 1 kickoff of the newly redesigned Freundship Press website and mission. If you are interested, contact me at jane@freundshippress.com.

The writer gets a percentage of each sale--and Jane is looking for all sorts of things, give it a try!

And last, I've had a couple of requests for a short story of mine to read, here's a link:

Next post may be from my vacation in Manzanita!

You have a lot going on. Hope all of them are fun, especially the vacation. I've never been to Manzanita, so I'll be looking for your post on the vacation!

Thank you for such kind word, Conda. I'm glad you enjoyed "Bunuelos for the Beach." I can't wait to hear all about Manzanita.

Duh...I hit post before I was ready. I forgot to say I enjoyed your story. Remind me never to purchase anything that remotely resembles a sleeper program :)

Sounds like you're riding a big wave just now. Here's hoping you meet with success all along the way.

I just wanted to say that I read your Sweet Dreams story and LOVED it!!!
Very creative and you had me chuckling with your sprinkled doses of humor in it. :)

Enjoyed both stories! Read Carol's in Map of Murder and Conda's online.
Have a wonderful vacation.
Got an error when I posted, so hope this doesn't show up twice. (I'll save that for my more sparkling comments!)

Conda, I hope you are enjoy a nice vacation. I wanted to ask you a question, but can't find an email address for you. Could you contact me at cher438lynn at hotmail dot com? I just want to ask you about your experience with Untied shoelaces. I have a story that has made it to the third stage and I'm just wondering about a few things. I do appreciate it.

Such pretty flowers! I'll have to check out your short story link; I like your writing, so I bet I'll like that, too.

Conda, when you have time, can you tell me how you put that rectangle in your post footer with the "add this" type buttons and the "reactions"? Do you have to go into your larger template or is there a blogger feature that I don't know about?

I don't want to play with my template as I'm just coming out of a phase of having a snippet of bad code creating a problem.

Thanks for any input!

Caryn, thanks!

Lynda, I fell into those footers by accident--and yes, you have to go into the larger template. This stuff always makes me nervous in case of bad code--as you know too well!
